Seated Liberty Half Dimes were made from 1837 to 1873 with quite a few minor type variations. Seated Liberty Half Dimes were minted at Philadelphia, New Orleans and San Francisco.
Lots of scarce and rare dates exist in this popular series with the 1870-S Seated Liberty Half Dime being the ultimate rarity – only a single example is known!
